The controllers plug in and connect seamlessly. They seem to have a couple of little glitches, though. For instance, when I push the down button for Mario to squat down to avoid something dangerous above him, you get about half a second of squat time before it glitches out and runs him backwards, either off a cliff or directly into danger. So far I’ve been able to find work arounds, but we’ll see how big a deal it is as the game progresses. Obviously, the 10 foot length is extremely convenient so I’m not crouching right under the television like we did in the 80s/early 90s. :)The A and B buttons are domed out instead on concave like the traditional NES Classic controller, so they feel different off the bat. However, after getting used to the new feel of the buttons, these controllers are just as responsive as the original controller but with a much longer cord.Overall very happy with the purchaseCord length is great. However, every once in a while the direction pad doesn't quite do what you'd like (i.e. you push down and it goes right), which I haven't noticed with the controllers that come with the system. If you get used to it and are careful, it's alright. Overall good controllers.The cord length us great (albeit wish I would have seen the wireless option before ordering). Love the extra few feet of cord so the kids don't have to sit quite so close to the TV. Great price for 2 controllers.One little note--the box only pictures one controller, so we were a little worried until we opened it up and found 2 controllers in there. But that's a very small thing, both controllers work great!We needed a second controller for our NES classic, and I was looking for extensions cords as well so we could sit on the couch when we played. These controllers have been exactly what we needed! We haven’t noticed any significant delays and they look and feel just like the Nintendo brand controller that came with the console. These have been a fantastic buy.Controllers are great except for some inaccuracy with the D-Pad. Not major enough to make any games unplayable but it is off enough to need compensating for.Perfect for our grandsons. The cord is a decent length. No issues with the remote. Great price.
