I really like this it has most of the old games I like and they all play great there is missing sound from some titles also 95,000 games you don’t get there only 30,000 now because I’ll never play most of those it dosnt bother me that much but I don’t like paying extra $$ to get more and not get em that being said this is a great lil game it’s nothing short of amazing that they can fit a million $$ worth of games into a system that’s probably 10$ to makeMy boyfriend was so excited when this came in, it was everything he hoped for and more! He said it made him feel like a kid again and brought back so many memories.This machine is more for the casual gamer. Don’t buy if you are wanting to seriously replay and enjoy classic N64 games. I bought this mainly replay Zelda 64. I could not get it past the start menu. So that was a bummer. If you want to casually play some classics you can’t beat the price of this machine. It would cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars to buy all the games on this system. The controllers work but they are cheaply made and the buttons seem off. For instance sometimes A is for B and variations like that. There are a lot of games you probably haven’t heard of and maybe will never play. I’m probably going to return this and put the money into investing into an actual N64 and the couple of games I want to play. But I may keep it because it is a good value and talking piece.I bought this console mostly to play NES and SNES games. I was not sure if I would have issues with the console based on the negative reviews. So far it has worked well but I did have to do some tweaks to the display when I first turned on the game. The issue was easy to solve by viewing a youtube video, the link to the video came in the instructions. I think if you just follow others' advice and have the patience to watch the youtube videos to problem solve you will like this game. I have not tried to play n64 or PSP games which apparently are the ones that are a bit slower. Otherwise, all of the SNES play great!It's not as bad as most of the one star testimonials say. First of all, if one doesn't understand Retroarch (the basic back end emulation driver) one cannot go in and do the necessary tweaks which must be done for many of the higher end consoles - for instance N64 needs to have the emulator/core changed to load about 1/4 of the games and then one must adjust the controller settings accordingly. Also one should do an immediate backup sd right out of the box in case tweaking gets out of control or the cheaper sd provided with the console doesn't hold up. The controllers are cheap but quite functional and certainly get to job done but one can use a usb/blue tooth controller of one's choice. The bottom line is this is intended to be a plug and play and it's technically not that simple. The company has many tutorials on YouTube (more than any of the other companies that have ventured a console such as this) and with basic abilities one can follow them and adjust this to one's satisfaction.The concept of this device is great. But that's where it ends... I have yet to find a single game that won't crash... After ripping my hair out setting up the controls and navigating the menus i was finally able to pick some games. All of which crashed. Games from SNES, Gameboy color, Gameboy advance, Sega Dreamcast, and several of the arcade style games. Not a single one would play more than 10 mins. They all just reboot out of the blue. I am very disappointed with the quality of this product and will be returning for a refund.Good product, take a-little time to experiment with it, one of my parts was defective, but worked around it.Some of them games just have to learn control set ups. Some of the games glitches or show terrible but I expect that with old school.
