You and up to three other players are Gearlocs. Your homeland has been invaded by seven savage Tyrants, and the Gearloc Council has summoned you to defeat them. It’s a great game. It does have a learning curve, and it’s not a walk in the park guaranteed gonna win kind of game. However, I had a lot of fun playing it and I’m probably gonna get some expansions.UPDATE: So I’ve really gotten into this game. After a few run throughs I’ve learned the mechanics and it is very fun. I like that every gearloc does something different. I usually play with two characters playing solo. I’ve expanded my collection buying Age of Tyranny, which is a must as the only really repetitive thing of the base game is the first three days. That add-on solve that problem. I also recently bought two more characters from the local board game store and I’m looking forward to playing them. It is a fun game and takes about two hours to play. Set up is not that difficult either.
