So I ordered four 6 packs of these stanchions. They come broken down into two pieces, the base and the post. They are fairly lightweight plastic, but seem like they will hold up to light use. These don’t seem like they will hold up to heavy use.The base is empty, you need to fill it with water or sand, then use the accompanying plugs to close them. If you don’t fill the base, the stanchion is too light and they will fall over the minute you try to pull the barrier tape out.So, I would use these for lines with less people to knock into or knock over.Best you can get for the bucks.Everything hooks well and works perfect!Just add sand to the base.We used this product for an event for the first time on 4/17/21. It was horrible. I filled it up with water and the poles was not steady. It was bent and dangerous. We thought it would come out of its socket and fly over and hit someone. Did not like it. We threw it in the garbage. We just ordered a new one.Very poor quality. They are a very cheap plastic and of absolutely no use. We had to jump through a ton of hoops to return it and did not get a full refund. Total crapThe base is weighted for stability. Great for all purpose and location. Plastic is durable type.
